These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Hushroom app (formerly published as Focusage) — available on Android, Windows and the web — provided by Rishikesh Prince, operating as Focusfuse ("we", "us"). By downloading, accessing or using Hushroom, you agree to these Terms. The July 2026 rename from Focusage to Hushroom does not affect these Terms or any existing purchase or account. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Licence to use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download and use Hushroom for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store or website you obtained it from.
2. Your account
Creating an account is optional. If you create one:
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding agreement and to use the app under your local laws.
- Notify us promptly at support@focusfuse.co.in if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or as described on our account deletion page.
3. Acceptable use
When using Hushroom, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, overload or gain unauthorized access to the app or its servers;
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law;
- Resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the app without our written permission;
- Use an offensive, misleading or impersonating display name on the leaderboard, or attempt to manipulate leaderboard points. We may rename or remove leaderboard entries that break this rule.
4. Your content
Your to-dos, habits, goals, notes, focus history and other data you create are yours. By using the sync features, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content solely to provide the app's features to you (such as backup and cross-device sync). We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it for advertising.
If you join the optional leaderboard, the display name you choose and your points (weekly, monthly, all-time and daily activity) are shown publicly to other Hushroom users. Your underlying content and account details are never shown — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what is visible.
5. Subscriptions & purchases
Hushroom is free to download and use with core features (including up to 3 habits and 1 in-progress goal). Hushroom Ignite is an optional paid subscription that unlocks unlimited habits and goals, plus cloud backup & sync across your devices. It is offered as monthly, 6‑month and yearly auto‑renewing plans; current prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and change over time.
- Where to buy: Ignite is purchased on Android through Google Play. On Windows and the web you cannot buy Ignite directly — instead, subscribe on Android and then sign in with the same account, and Ignite unlocks automatically on those devices for your whole subscription period.
- Billing & renewal: payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel: any time in your Google Play account → Subscriptions (on your Android device, or at play.google.com). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Ignite access until the end of the period already paid for.
- Refunds: handled according to Google Play's refund policy; we do not process payments directly.
- If Ignite ends: your data is never deleted — the app simply returns to the free tier (cloud sync pauses and the 3‑habit limit applies to new habits; existing habits are kept).
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play and managed via RevenueCat, and are also subject to those providers' terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Hushroom and Focusfuse names, logos, designs, and the app's software and content (excluding your own data) are owned by Rishikesh Prince / Focusfuse and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
7. Third-party services
Hushroom relies on third-party services — including Google (Sign-In and Google Play), GitHub (Sign-In), RevenueCat (subscription management) and Supabase (authentication, database and hosting). Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Hushroom is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be available or preserved. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Focusfuse and Rishikesh Prince will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.
10. Termination
You may stop using Hushroom and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to the app and Terms
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Hushroom after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction there, unless your local consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
